Your NEET result shows three numbers: raw marks (out of 720), NTA score (percentile), and All India Rank. Understanding how they relate helps you decide which counselling tracks to pursue realistically.

Historical data shows approximate rank bands for marks ranges, but the 2026 cycle is unusual — a smaller Re-NEET candidate pool (due to opt-outs) may shift the rank distribution relative to previous years.

As a rough guide from 2025: 650+ marks typically corresponds to ranks within the top 1,000–2,000; 550–600 marks typically corresponds to ranks around 10,000–25,000 (General).
