NEET Syllabus
The NEET UG syllabus is set by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The current syllabus was released on 23 December 2025. It covers Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology across Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT chapters. Each subject page on this help center maps every NMC syllabus unit to the exact NCERT chapter — so you always know what to read and what to skip.

The NEET syllabus and where it actually comes from
The NEET-UG syllabus is notified by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and published with each cycle's information bulletin by NTA. It is anchored to Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and it has been rationalised in recent cycles — chapters have been added and removed — so an old syllabus PDF can quietly waste weeks of your preparation.
The subject pages here follow the current chapter structure for the NEET-UG subjects we maintain. Cross-check against the syllabus annexure in the current information bulletin before starting any new chapter.
State-board students: NEET follows the NCERT-aligned national syllabus, not your state board's. If you studied a state syllabus, map its chapters against the NEET syllabus early — the gaps are usually in specific chapters, not whole subjects.
